Little Red Cloud

I never got round to writing about this when it happened, but I stumbled across this in my crochet bag last night, before I left for work…

Little red cloud?

I take my crochet with me to work sometimes, depending on the light conditions of the shift that I am working that night. It was the first time I’d taken it to this particular shift, and the little boy, who is 5 years old, was fascinated by it! He decided to call it my “knitting”, because he couldn’t say crochet!

Anyway, he was so intrigued that he asked to have a go. I set up some yarn for him, on an 8mm hook and showed him a couple of stitches, then left him to his own devices. About 15mins later, this is what he had come up with. I’m not quite sure what it is, but it reminds me of a fluffy red cloud, floating on a string. He was so proud of it, that we had to show his Grandma, and then his Mother in the morning.

Just something I wanted to share with you all!
