Busy Days

I’ve had a really busy couple of days, although definitely busy in a good way!

On Wednesday morning, I took a trip down to Abbotsbury Swannery, to see the cygnets! They are so adorable! I ended up having a total photo binge, and shot 360 pictures of the swans and cygnets! I’m still trying to work my way through them all!

“Ugly Duckling”

I never understand how these beautiful little creatures could be deemed ugly ducklings! Look at him! This particular cygnet was cuddled up to his mother and her remaining eggs. He also had a load of brothers and sisters, scurrying around! I’m really proud of this photograph! What do you think?

Yesterday I met my friend, Kelly, in town for lunch. We decided to go to a relatively new place called The Loft, in Antelope Walk.

We were really impressed with the food! Kelly opted for their all day breakfast (which looked absolutely delicious), and I had leek and goats cheese tart, coupled with rosemary potatoes, couscous, and a yummy selection of salad leaves (with a really nice dressing…no idea what it was though!).

How good does this look!

After meeting Kelly, I had a quick browse around town, and managed to find myself some wedge sandals to wear with my butterfly dress (previously mentioned here) for just £19.99 in New Look!

Adding a few inches to my pathetic 5’6″

I really like them! And they’re suitable to wear with loads of other stuff, so that’s ok! Very pleased with my chance find.

In the evening, I went to Poole and my lovely boyfriend cooked me a very nice stir fry, which was followed by a walk in Poole Park, and snuggle time. Woop woop!

I’m sick of the heat though. I’m such a typical English person; moan when it’s cold, moan when it’s hot. I’ve never been very good with heat though, so I hate it when Summer hits. Definitely an Autumn and Winter person! But hey, can’t control the weather…I’m just not really looking forward to trying to sleep tomorrow, in this heat. Anyway, two more nights and then a couple off.
