On the subject of gloves (see this week’s Treasury Tuesday) one of my Christmas presents in 2012 were some really awesome owl gloves, that my Mum knitted for me!

It has been really cold here the last few days, with all the snow, so I wore them to work last night. I got a few other pairs of gloves for Christmas, but I really love the way the stitches make up the owl shape on these – I have a very clever Mother! I’m not sure what pattern she used for these, but I will happily ask if any of you would like to make a pair of your own!
