I’ve been working on amigurumi again for the last few weeks, by making some teddies for my lovely colleague Adrienne! This evening, I have finished teddy #1, and he is so cute!
I have used a pattern by Elif T, which I downloaded from Ravelry. Isn’t he gorgeous! It’s a lovely, lovely pattern to work with, and really well written. The only thing I have changed are the facial features – I’ve decided to leave them out, because I couldn’t get the mouth looking how I wanted it to. I think he’s still super cute though, and I really hope Adrienne likes him!
I worked with Caron Simply Soft Tweed in Taupe for this teddy (and off white for the second one), and made his scarf out of some Sirdar Crofter in Seagrass, which I think brightened him up a little, without going mad. I’ve also stitched on a cute little fabric button as well, for a little detail.
I was hoping to have his friend finished this evening, to give to her tomorrow, but unfortunately I have run out of time. At least she can have one before Christmas though, and I’ll try and finish the other one before we go back to work on Wednesday.
It’s felt good to do some more amigurumi though! I’ve managed to make a real mixture of different projects this year, so it’s good to finish on an ami, and such a cute one!
