Today I gave my bonsai tree, Chiisai, a good pruning and feed! He is currently sunning himself in the garden; life as a bonsai is so easy!
He’s been doing some serious growing this week, so I really needed to trim back the crown of the foliage. I’ve managed to tame him a bit now!

As you can see, I took off the top parts and also finally got the guts to remove the branch on the bottom right. It’s been bugging me since I bought the tree, and I didn’t have the guts to remove it, because it was quite a well established branch. But today I finally plucked up the courage to take it off, and I think Chiisai looks a lot better for it!
