Woodland Walks

Today it was absolutely beautiful outside! It’s been ages since Dave and I managed to get some time together when the sun was out, so we decided to go for a walk with our cameras. Dave chose a route between Bovington and Moreton, and we set off just after 10:00!

Floods, catkins, cuddles, and trees

We’ve had a lot of rain in Dorset over the last few days, and we found that most of our route was actually flooded. We managed to make our way along most of it, before being forced to turn back. However we returned to Bovington a slightly different way, and walked through some of the woods, which was fun!

When we got back to the car, we drove to Moreton so we could at least see the destination we had been so close to! We stopped in at St Nicholas’ Church, and saw it’s famous engraved windows, as well as Lawrence of Arabia’s grave. We then visited Moreton Tearooms and grabbed some amazing lunch!

A simple, but fun filled walk. I hope we continue getting some nice weather so we can fit in more trips like this!
