In September, I made this post about the garden, and how I had been planting some bulbs. I went out to the garden this morning, to feed the birds, to find this wonderful sight!
My fritillary and tulips are starting to shoot! Woohoo!
It’s so lovely, at such a bleak time of year when the trees are bare, Christmas and New Year are over, to see beautiful fresh shoots growing out from the remnants of last years leaves. This also ties in beautifully with today’s Treasury, which was based on fresh colours for the new year. I really can’t wait to see my bulbs begin blooming!
