Aaah I have just watched the first episode of Gok Cooks Chinese, which I recorded a few nights ago. I’m in love!
I love Gok Wan, and when I saw he had a cookery program coming up, I was a bit apprehensive. I hate it when celebrities try branching out into things that have nothing to do with them; like from fashion to cookery. However, Gok has a background in Chinese cooking, not only from his Father, but also from having been brought up in restaurants and the like. So I watched the program, and squee! The recipe for beef in black bean sauce was divine! I am definitely buying this book when payday comes around!! Roll on next week!
